Today, our community came together once again, this time to plant native plants around our newly installed sign, breathing life into our project and creating a vibrant oasis for all to enjoy. With the dedicated support of volunteers, our vision took root as we carefully placed each plant, ensuring they thrived in their new home. A heartfelt thank you goes out to Kevin, whose expertise and dedication were instrumental in making this day possible. From drawing up landscaping plans to researching plants and sourcing suppliers, Kevin's unwavering commitment ensured that every aspect of our project was executed flawlessly. As we admire the fruits of our labor (and we even planted a fruit tree for everyone to enjoy!🍋 ) we're reminded of the power of collaboration and the beauty that emerges when a community comes together for a common cause.
We did end up needing 2 additional items for this project! We purchased some wood to stablilize the sign, and two water bladders to keep our project watered. We also plan on sharing the bladders with other neighborhood endeavors!
